Job summary

Clark Wood is partnering with a leading independent accountancy firm in Aldridge, Walsall, to appoint an experienced Senior Personal Tax Advisor. You will manage your own portfolio of personal tax clients, preparing Self Assessment returns and advising on tax planning opportunities.

You will work closely with the Tax Manager and wider team, handling client relationships, dealing with HMRC, and progressing private client matters including trusts, estates and IHT.

Qualifications

• Strong personal tax experience with client facing responsibilities.
• Good technical knowledge and ability to build client relationships.
• Ability to identify tax planning opportunities and advise clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own portfolio of personal tax clients, prepare and review Self Assessment returns, and liaise with HMRC.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and advise clients on strategies.
• Support private client matters including trusts, estates and IHT, with guidance from the Tax Manager.
