Job summary

Butler Rose Ltd in Stockport is seeking an experienced Personal Tax Senior to manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including owners and high-net-worth individuals. You will handle Self Assessment, compliance matters, and assist with planning alongside the Tax Director.

The role offers hybrid working after probation, study support including CTA where appropriate, and clear progression within a supportive, client-facing tax team.

Qualifications

• Solid Personal Tax experience in an accountancy practice.
• ATT qualification path or equivalent experience.
• Confident handling client and HMRC interactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Personal Tax clients including owner-managed businesses and HNW individuals.
• Prepare and submit Self Assessment tax returns.
• Deal with personal tax compliance matters and deadlines.
• Collaborate with the Tax Director on complex planning and advisory work.
• Develop client relationships and support junior team members.
