Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment client in Eastleigh is looking for a Personal Tax Senior to join their growing team. You will manage a portfolio of personal tax clients and handle complex cases, ensuring timely submissions and high standards.

The ideal candidate is ATT qualified (or equivalent) with at least 2 years PQE, strong knowledge of UK personal taxation, and experience mentoring juniors. Hybrid working and attractive benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

• ATT qualified (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation.
• Experience managing a personal tax portfolio independently.
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate tax calculations.
• Proficient IT skills; knowledge of IRIS software beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including more complex cases.
• Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns to a high standard.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing advice and resolving queries.
• Review the work of junior team members and provide guidance and support.
• Assist with personal tax planning and advisory projects.
• Liaise with HMRC and ensure compliance with filing deadlines.
• Identify tax risks, opportunities and value-added solutions for clients.
