Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior clinical education leader (Band 8A) to provide strategic and operational leadership for education, practice development and workforce development across Theatre services, ensuring high standards of patient care across multiple sites within the STACC Directorate.

The post holder will lead education programmes, embed learning from incidents and audits, strengthen clinical governance and support succession planning,

Qualificações

• Senior clinical education leadership experience in perioperative settings.
• Experience developing competency frameworks and workforce planning.
• Strong governance and patient safety focus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior clinical education leadership across Theatres
• Provide expert educational guidance to Surgery and the Elective Hub with STACC directors
• Lead and coordinate workforce development, training programmes, and competency frameworks
• Drive practice development initiatives including preceptorship and clinical learning environments
• Embed learning from incidents, complaints and risk reviews into practice
• Support governance and compliance through audits, monitoring and reporting
• Line manage and provide professional leadership to the Clinical Education team
• Undertake training needs analysis for theatres and oversee delivery of education programmes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient safety and care quality
• Support development pathways for Bands 1-4 staff and apprenticeship initiatives
• Represent the Directorate in education and workforce forums
