Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for an experienced clinical education leader (Band 8A) to drive education programmes across Theatre services at multiple sites within the STACC Directorate. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on development of practice, governance and workforce capability.

Qualificações

• Registered NMC/AHP Practitioner or equivalent.
• Masters level qualification or higher in education/leadership.
• PG Certificate in Education or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Teaching qualification e.g. ENB 997/998; Mentorship/SLIPs.
• SIM Facilitator course or experience.
• BSc/BA in healthcare related discipline.
• Exposure to Practice Development, preceptorship and learning environments.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior clinical education leadership across Theatres.
• Offer expert educational guidance to Surgery and the Elective Hub, collaborating with clinical leaders.
• Lead workforce development, training programmes and competency frameworks.
• Drive practice development initiatives including preceptorship and learning environments.
• Embed learning from incidents, complaints and risk reviews into practice.
• Support governance and compliance through audits, monitoring and reporting.
• Line manage the Clinical Education team and oversee education delivery.
• undertake training needs analysis for theatres and oversee education delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient safety and care quality.
• Support pathways for Bands 1–4 staff and apprenticeship/training initiatives.
• Represent the Directorate in education/workforce forums.
