Job summary

Worldhire seeks an experienced Senior Performance Test Engineer to drive non-functional testing across core wealth management and enterprise platforms. Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Performance Engineering and Non-Functional Quality Assurance.
• Financial Services, Wealth Management, Telecom, or Enterprise SaaS familiarity.
• Expert-level proficiency in JMeter, BlazeMeter, or HP LoadRunner.
• RESTful API and Web Services testing experience with Postman, SoapUI, or JMeter.
• Direct experience with AppDynamics, New Relic, AWS CloudWatch, or native profilers.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and shift-left performance practices.
• Excellent client-facing communication and ability to present results to stakeholders.
• Hands-on SQL/JVM tuning and code-level optimization.
• Cloud capacity planning and scalability across AWS/Azure.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and execute non-functional test plans, including Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, and Scalability testing across web apps, microservices, and APIs.
• Own performance fixes with engineering teams, including JVM tuning and query optimization.
• Influence system design for scalability during design reviews.
• Drive cloud scalability and capacity decisions with auto-scaling and sizing.
• Support production performance monitoring and RCA.
• Build, maintain, and optimize automated performance test scripts using JMeter, BlazeMeter, HP LoadRunner, or k6.
• Monitor server-side, DB, and app metrics with AppDynamics, New Relic, CloudWatch, or Dynatrace to isolate bottlenecks.
• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
• Utilize AI-assisted testing tools to accelerate script generation and analysis.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and stakeholders to translate NFRs into KPIs.
• Produce clear performance evaluation reports and document defects.
