Job summary

Fife Council is seeking a Lead Performance Analyst to drive data analysis and modelling for the Children in Fife initiative. You will develop a comprehensive Joint Strategic Needs Assessment and provide data to support improvement activities across the partnership.

The role requires advanced Excel and Power BI skills, a relevant degree, and the ability to lead small projects while communicating with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a statistical/analytical role within a large organisation.
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analysis or equivalent.
• Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
• Knowledge of data protection and personal data security in data handling and governance.
• Ability to lead small projects and communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead data analysis and modelling to support the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment for children in Fife.
• Provide data and information to meet improvement activity across the partnership.
• Support ongoing self-evaluation and quality assurance of core partnership approaches.
• Design and develop performance reporting for proportionate improvement.
• Advise senior leaders on the appropriate use of data and analyse needs across groups.
• Be line-managed by the Partnership Coordinator for Children in Fife.
