Job summary

Government Digital Service (GDS) is seeking a Senior Performance Analyst to provide analytical leadership for the One Login programme. You will shape metrics, ensure data quality, and deliver actionable insights to support evidence-based decisions.

You will work with product teams to define what to measure, develop hypotheses, and drive evaluation of changes. You will mentor peers and contribute to building a strong analytical community across digital delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience designing performance frameworks and KPIs for digital products.
• Ability to translate complex analytics into clear recommendations for audiences at all levels.
• Experience working with large datasets and collaborating with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of KPIs and success measures across One Login products.
• Analyse data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights for product development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify what should be measured and how to evaluate impact.
• Influence stakeholders to adopt evidence-based approaches in decision making and roadmaps.
• Communicate complex findings clearly to senior leaders and diverse audiences.
• Coach and mentor junior analysts to promote best practice in analytics.
