Job summary

EA First in South Cambridge is seeking a Senior People Partner to drive strategic HR partnering with the CEO and senior leadership. You will shape workforce strategy while delivering hands-on HR across recruitment, benefits, wellbeing and policy updates in a project-driven environment.

You will bring significant HR business partnering experience, ideally within engineering or technical consultancy, with the ability to influence directors and lead change. CIPD Level 7 or equivalent is preferred.

Job description

This is a superb opportunity for a proactive Senior People Partner to join a fantastic organisation in the South Cambridge area.

Your role will be integral to the smooth running of the HR / People team, and you'll have a constantly varied workload, to keep you busy and challenged!

Working closely with the CEO & senior HR leadership, you'll have the influence to shape strategy as well as the following key areas:-

• Strategic partnering
• Talent & Workforce planning
• Leadership, Coaching & Development
• ER & Culture
• Performance & Reward
• Change & organisational development
• Project & Bid Support
• HR Operational areas including recruitment, benefits, wellbeing and policy / procedure updates
• Managing 1 member of the HR team

You'll have significant HR business partnering experience, ideally in engineering, technical consultancy or another project-based environment. You'll be confident influencing directors, comfortable moving between strategy and hands-on delivery, and skilled at building trust with leaders.

You'll also bring strong commercial acumen, experience of workforce planning and organisational change, and a sound record in complex employee relations.

Ideally you’ll have CIPD Level 7, or equivalent.

Term: 16-month fixed term contract

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
