Job summary

EA First in Cambridge is seeking a proactive Senior People Partner to join our HR/People team. You will partner with the CEO and senior HR leadership to shape strategy and oversee strategic partnering, talent planning, and engagement across the business.

The role covers ER & culture, performance, reward, change, organisational development, and HR operations including recruitment, benefits, wellbeing and policy updates.

Qualifications

• Significant HR business partnering experience, ideally in engineering, technical consultancy or project-based environments.
• Confident influencing directors and balancing strategy with hands-on delivery.
• Proven track record in workforce planning and complex employee relations.

Job description

This is a superb opportunity for a proactive Senior People Partner to join a fantastic organisation in the South Cambridge area.

Your role will be integral to the smooth running of the HR / People team, and you'll have a constantly varied workload, to keep you busy and challenged!

Working closely with the CEO & senior HR leadership, you'll have the influence to shape strategy as well as the following key areas:

• Strategic partnering
• Talent & Workforce planning
• Leadership, Coaching & Development
• ER & Culture
• Performance & Reward
• Change & organisational development
• Project & Bid Support
• HR Operational areas including recruitment, benefits, wellbeing and policy / procedure updates
• Managing 1 member of the HR teamYou'll have significant HR business partnering experience, ideally in engineering, technical consultancy or another project-based environment. You'll be confident influencing directors, comfortable moving between strategy and hands-on delivery, and skilled at building trust with leaders.

You’ll also bring strong commercial acumen, experience of workforce planning and organisational change, and a sound record in complex employee relations.

Ideally you'll have CIPD Level 7, or equivalent.
