? Location and Legalities

This full-time Senior People Operations Lead position is based onsite in our brand-new Ultralytics office in London, UK, with a hybrid model of 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the UK, as Ultralytics does not provide visa sponsorship.

? What You'll Do

As the Senior People Operations Lead at Ultralytics, you will be the architect of our people processes and systems, ensuring we can attract, retain, and develop the world-class talent needed to advance our Ultralytics YOLO11 models. Your work will directly support our rapid growth and high-performance culture. Key responsibilities include:

  • HRIS & Tech Stack Management: Own and optimize our entire HR technology stack, including our HRIS (Rippling), Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Mobile Device Management (MDM), and equity management platform (Carta).
  • People Analytics & Strategy: Develop and maintain people analytics dashboards to provide insights into key metrics. Use this data to inform and shape our overall HR strategy and business decisions.
  • Employee Lifecycle: Manage all aspects of the employee journey, from seamless onboarding and integration for new hires to supportive offboarding processes, ensuring a positive experience at every stage.
  • Performance & Engagement: Design and implement innovative employee engagement initiatives and a robust performance management framework that aligns with our fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Lead compensation planning cycles, conduct market benchmarking, and manage our benefits programs to ensure we remain competitive and equitable.
  • Compliance & Policy: Ensure compliance with UK employment law, manage employee relations, and develop scalable HR policies and procedures that support our global team.
  • Recruitment Operations: Partner with our talent acquisition team to streamline hiring processes and enhance our candidate experience, helping us attract top AI talent.

Your strategic vision and operational excellence will be essential in building the infrastructure to support Ultralytics' mission of delivering top-tier machine learning tools to the world.

?️ Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a People Operations or HR Generalist role, preferably within a high-growth tech startup or AI company.
  • Deep expertise in managing modern HRIS platforms, with direct experience using Rippling being a significant advantage.
  • Proven experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), equity management tools like Carta, and implementing data-driven HR initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of core HR functions including performance management, compensation planning, employee relations, and UK employment law.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and HR strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
  • A passion for building efficient systems and a proactive approach to improving the employee experience, contributing to a culture of innovation and purpose.
