Job summary

Ashley Kate HR & Finance is seeking a Senior People Administrator for a 12-month FTC in Northampton with hybrid working. You will join a busy HR team to manage processes across the employee lifecycle, maintain accurate records, and provide a high-quality administrative service.

The role involves supporting payroll changes, preparing contracts and offer letters, handling HR queries, compliance checks, and generating reports.

Qualifications

  • HR administration experience in a busy environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Confident with HR systems and MS Office.
  • CIPD qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Process HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including starters, leavers, transfers and changes.
  • Produce offer letters, contracts of employment, and HR correspondence.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy within the HR system.
  • Support payroll by processing employee changes and providing relevant information.
  • Respond to HR inbox queries and onboarding tasks in a timely manner.
  • Administer absence, holiday, maternity/paternity and other benefits records.
  • Produce reports and HR metrics as required.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider HR team and managers.

Senior People Administrator

12 month FTC minimum

Northampton (Hybrid)

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our clients HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys managing HR processes, maintaining accurate employee records, and providing a first-class administrative service across the employee lifecycle.

Supporting a fast-paced business environment, you will play a key role in ensuring all HR transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with company policies and employment legislation.

The role:
  • Processing all HR administration relating to the employee lifecycle, including starters, leavers, transfers, and contractual changes.
  • Producing offer letters, contracts of employment, and HR correspondence.
  • Maintaining employee records and ensuring data accuracy within the HR system.
  • Supporting payroll by processing employee changes and providing relevant information.
  • Managing HR inbox queries and responding in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administering absence, holiday, maternity, paternity, and other employee benefits records.
  • Assisting with compliance checks, right-to-work documentation, and onboarding processes.
  • Producing reports and HR metrics as required.
  • Providing administrative support to the wider HR team and managers across the business.
We're looking for someone who:
  • Has previous HR administration experience, ideally within a busy HR environment.
  • Possesses excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Is confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Can manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining accuracy.
  • Has strong communication and customer service skills.Understands the importance of handling confidential information.
  • Holds, or is working towards, a CIPD qualification (desirable but not essential).
