Job summary

Isio is expanding its Calculations and Benefits team in the UK, seeking a Senior Analyst to lead calculation projects across pensions schemes. You will evaluate business processes, develop calculation models, and sign off proformas while guiding junior teammates.

The role involves close collaboration with Admin and technology stakeholders and delivering BAU improvements. With strong Excel skills, a solid understanding of UK DB and DC pensions, you’ll drive transformation and ensure robust

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of UK Defined Benefit and UK Defined Contribution pensions.
• Minimum three years' experience in calculation based theory and formula development.
• Experience mentoring, ideally managing, junior colleagues and their workload.
• Track record of calculation solutions implementation and transformation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; detail focused.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and documenting business processes.
• Creating and signing off robust calc proformas.
• Creating a robust test grid.
• Conducting user acceptance testing.
• Investigating calculation discrepancies.
• Communicating design and changes to stakeholders and teams.
• Building training materials.
• Liaising between stakeholders, users, and technical teams for adoption.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Analysing options and ensuring best fit for business needs.
• Managing team workflow and supporting junior members.
• Guidance and development of testing proformas for changes.
