Job summary

Isio recruitment team is seeking a skilled Calculations & Benefits professional to join the pensions administration practice in the UK. You will help manage and deliver complex calculation work across DB/DC schemes, collaborating with Administration and wider Isio stakeholders.

You will lead in coding and configuration of admin platforms, optimise processes, and mentor junior colleagues while aligning with ISO27001 controls and governance.

Qualifications

• Proven record of delivering calculation solutions across pensions admin systems.
• Excellent knowledge of DB/DC pension schemes and their calculation requirements.
• Management of key stakeholders at all levels in a corporate environment.
• Experience of relational databases.
• Demonstrable programming experience (e.g. SQL / .NET / VBA).
• Experience of management responsibilities such as prioritisation, accountability, risk management.
• Experience of managing a small team.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Experience of modern pensions administration systems.
• Ability to interpret benefit specification and translate into calculations.
• Excellent planning & organisational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative delivery approach.
• Robust audit, testing and sign-off processes.

Responsibilities
