Job description

Eden Scott is currently seeking an experienced Senior Pensions Administrator to join a leading UK consulting and administration business. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop and expand your skills and knowledge. You will work on a variety of DB and DC schemes of different sizes and complexities.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks and services, including:

1. Maintaining all administration aspects of DB and DC pension schemes
2. Serving as the first point of contact for members, trustees, and managers
3. Providing training and mentoring to team members
4. Handling queries from members, employers, and trustees via telephone, email, and letter
5. Calculating, processing, and verifying benefits for members
6. Managing all pension renewal processes

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of DB pensions, with ideally 5 years of experience working with Defined Benefit schemes. Knowledge of GMP reconciliation, equalisation calculations, and PPF is preferred. Excellent computer, communication, and organizational skills are essential. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is also important.
