Job summary

PiC is seeking a Senior Pension Operations Analyst to oversee third party administrators and ensure exemplary service for policyholders. You will collaborate with Risk, Transitions and Finance to secure buy-in for improvements, interpret pension rules, and deliver strong outcomes for profitability and brand reputation.

Qualifications

• Defined benefit pension schemes knowledge.
• Pensions Administration processing knowledge.
• Pensions legislation knowledge and its application.
• Experience with complex manual pension calculations.
• Familiar with pensions buy-ins, buy-outs and transitions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain oversight of Third Party Administrators to ensure KPI delivery.
• Collaborate with TPAs on complex pension calculations and queries.
• Oversee pension processes auditing, incl. increases, DSARs, high-value payments.
• Audit partner process guides for conformance to PIC policies and pension law.
• Ensure partners understand PIC guidelines for Consumer Duty.
• Attend supplier meetings with TPAs.
• Support data collation for internal and external audits.
• Oversee Buy In scheme funding requests and checks.
• Liaise with Transitions, Actuarial and Payroll to serve Trustees.
• Provide pension technical expertise and interpret rules.
• Produce MI inputs and reports for PIC Senior Management.
• Identify and implement process improvements in administration model.
• Undertake ad-hoc project work with timeliness.
• Engage with regulatory bodies like FCA and PRA as needed.
• Own learning and development in technical and interpersonal areas.
