Job summary

Instil is seeking a Senior Penetration Tester with CHECK to join our growing team in the UK. You will perform hands-on testing across infrastructure, cloud, web, and mobile applications for diverse clients including software, fintech, manufacturing, and public sector organizations.

In this role you’ll identify security weaknesses, mentor junior testers, and contribute to our testing methodologies while delivering high-quality engagements in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• CHECK Team Member status required.
• Current UK Security Clearance.
• At least 2+ years of penetration testing experience.
• Strong experience with web application and network penetration testing methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux/Windows/Active Directory.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and cloud security reviews.
• Proficiency with BurpSuite Pro, Nmap, Nessus, and Kali Linux.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on penetration testing across infrastructure, cloud, web, and mobile apps for diverse clients.
• Identify and remediate security weaknesses and provide remediation guidance.
• Contribute to methodologies and mentor junior testers.
