Job summary

Instil is seeking a Senior Penetration Tester with CHECK to join our growing team in the UK. You will perform hands‑on testing across infrastructure, cloud, web and mobile apps for diverse clients, identifying weaknesses and helping remediate them.

In this role you will mentor junior testers while contributing to developing our methodologies and best practices in offensive security. A supportive environment awaits with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• CTM status and UK security clearance required.
• Minimum 2+ years of penetration testing experience.
• Strong web application and network testing methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of Linux, Windows, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and cloud security reviews.
• Proficient with Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, Kali Linux; scripting in Python or Shell.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands‑on penetration testing across infrastructure, cloud, web and mobile applications.
• Identify and remediate security weaknesses; document and present findings.
• Contribute to testing methodologies and mentor junior testers.
