Job summary

Citation Cyber is seeking a Security Consultant (Penetration Testing) to join our hybrid-UK team. You'll deliver security assessments across client environments, report findings clearly and help clients remediate vulnerabilities.

As a CHECK/CREST-enabled provider, you’ll work on infrastructure and web app testing, cloud security reviews, and contribute to ongoing tooling and knowledge sharing while developing towards CHECK roles.

Qualifications

• Proven consultancy-style penetration testing experience.
• Clear, technical reporting of findings and remediation.
• Experience in infrastructure and web app testing.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with Azure and AWS security testing.
• Proficient in standard pentest tools and methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of security assessments across client environments.
• Identify vulnerabilities and strengthen cyber resilience.
• Perform infrastructure or web application pentests.
• Produce clear, high-quality technical reports.
• Present findings and remediation advice to clients.
• Support vulnerability validation and re-testing.
