South East London Mind is recruiting Senior Peer Support Worker to join the In-Reach team in Lewisham, using lived experience to provide person-centred, recovery-focused support to in-patients on ward and after discharge.

You will line manage a Peer Support Worker, supervise, conduct annual appraisals, work within a multidisciplinary team, and help service users access community resources to maintain independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must have lived experience of mental health problems.
• Experience in line management and supervision.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience supporting service users on wards and after discharge.

Responsabilités

• Provide recovery-focused peer support on hospital wards and at discharge.
• Line manage a Peer Support Worker with regular supervision and appraisals.
• Support service users after discharge for up to 12 weeks.
• Foster independence and connect with community resources to improve wellbeing.
