The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking an experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist in a fixed-term role within the Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Team. The post involves coordinating community caseloads, providing second opinions, supervising junior staff, and leading service development.

Candidates should have HCPC registration, a degree in speech and language therapy, and substantial experience in paediatric SLT.

Competenze

• Degree in speech and language therapy or equivalent.
• Masters-level modules or equivalent postgraduate clinical courses in area of clinical expertise.

Mansioni

• Coordinate and develop the service for children with speech, language and communication needs.
• Lead and advise health commissioners when speech and language therapy needs are discussed.
• Carry out appraisals for identified staff and supervise team members.
• Hold a clinical caseload across community clinics, nurseries and schools, with travel to team meetings and supervision.
