Job summary

West Kent Primary Care Ltd is seeking a Senior Clinical Pharmacist to lead the PCN Pharmacy Team in Tunbridge Wells. The post holder will provide senior clinical leadership, supervise pharmacists and technicians, and contribute to safe medicines optimisation and improved patient outcomes.

The role involves evening and weekend enhanced access clinics, and collaboration with the Head of Operations and other senior colleagues to drive quality improvement across the network.

Qualifications

• Qualified Pharmacist with GPhC registration.
• Experience in primary care or community pharmacy is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical pharmacy team to improve care quality and safety.
• Co-ordinate activity of the PCN Pharmacy Team and supervise pharmacists/technicians.
• Deliver evening and weekend enhanced access clinics.
• Contribute to medicines optimisation and antibiotic stewardship.
• Support the financial stability of the practice through medicines optimisation.
