Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Senior PCB Layout Engineer to lead complex hardware design for advanced communication products. You will own PCB layout across multiple projects, translating schematics into manufacturable, high-quality designs and supporting from concept through production.

You will collaborate with hardware engineers on stack-ups, routing strategies, signal integrity and EMI considerations, mentoring junior engineers and helping define design standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Strong PCB layout experience with CAD tools
• Experience in high-speed digital and mixed-signal PCB design
• Knowledge of signal integrity, grounding and power distribution
• Familiar with EMC and design-for-manufacture considerations
• Experience mentoring or leading technical teams

Responsibilities

This Senior PCB Layout Engineer role focuses on the design and development of complex electronic hardware for advanced communication and semiconductor products. The Senior PCB Layout Engineer will take ownership of PCB layout activities across multiple projects, working closely with hardware engineers to deliver high-quality, manufacturable designs. The Senior PCB Layout Engineer will support products from concept through production.

Responsibilities

• Develop multilayer PCB layouts for analogue, digital and mixed-signal designs
• Work closely with hardware engineers to translate schematics into manufacturable PCB designs
• Define stack-ups, routing strategies and design constraints

Requirements

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong PCB layout experience using industry-standard CAD tools
• Experience with high-speed digital and mixed-signal PCB design
• Understanding of signal integrity, grounding and power distribution principles
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacture techniques
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience with RF, wireless or communications products
• Familiarity with impedance-controlled and high-layer-count PCBs
• Knowledge of EMC and compliance considerations
• Experience supporting products through prototype and production stages
• Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience
