Job summary

JGA Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to join a busy outsourced payroll team. You will manage a portfolio of client payrolls across various frequencies, with a focus on NHS and public sector payroll experience being highly desirable.

The role is permanent, full-time, and hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office in Yeovil or Taunton. You will handle end-to-end payroll tasks, RTI submissions, auto-enrolment, and client payroll queries, ensuring accuracy and

Qualifications

• End-to-end UK payroll experience required.
• Public sector/NHS payroll experience desirable.
• Experience managing multiple payrolls/clients.
• Strong RTI and HMRC knowledge; pension processing familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Process multiple client payrolls across different frequencies.
• Manage an allocated portfolio; act as key client contact.
• Process starters, leavers, statutory deductions, absences and pension contributions.
• Complete RTI submissions, BACS payments and payroll reporting.
• Support auto-enrolment and payroll pension processing.
• Resolve payroll queries and advise on processes and procedures.
• Review payroll information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
