Job summary

Albert Goodman is recruiting a Senior Payroll Administrator to join our payroll team in Yeovil or Taunton. You will oversee payroll processing, ensure compliance with RTI/HMRC requirements, and liaise with clients to optimise payroll procedures.

Ideal candidates will have outsourced payroll experience with public sector or NHS exposure, strong numerical ability, and proficiency in Iris Payroll Professional, PayCircle and Xero. A supportive, flexible benefits package accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of payroll, RTI and HMRC reporting requirements.
• Experience processing multiple payrolls and frequencies, public sector/NHS desirable.
• Comfort with numbers and payroll software tools such as Iris Payroll Professional, PayCircle and Xero.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service and develop others.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and administer client payrolls within allocated portfolios.
• Liaise with clients on payroll procedures and timely submissions.
• Support payroll team growth and client care skills within the NHS/public sector context.
