SC Johnson has the opportunity for a Senior Payroll Specialist EMEA

24 months FTC

Location: Frimley

Position Overview

Processing end-to-end payroll for several countries, including collation of payroll input, statutory and taxation payments, ensuring compliance with country-specific payroll regulations, corporate policies, and internal controls (audit compliance). Ensuring timely and accurate government reporting and remittances.

The Senior Payroll Specialist EMEA must balance multiple and changing priorities to meet demanding deadlines, engaging with internal and external contacts. Creativity and latitude are expected, especially for complex issues.

This role also involves developing strong relationships and maintaining high customer service levels with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely employee payments across EMEA countries.
  • Assist with expatriate payroll and tax reporting as required.
  • Manage MyHR tickets and communication with external payroll providers and HR teams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on payroll processes, cycles, and projects with COE, HRBP’s, business leaders, Finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Review and update country-specific toolboxes regularly.
  • Serve as the first point of contact with Payroll vendors in EMEA.
  • Work closely with Senior Payroll Specialists and Local finance teams.
  • Implement instructions from Total Rewards and Global Payment Departments, analyzing tax changes and guiding business partners.
Experience You’ll Bring
  • Minimum 4 years payroll experience in EMEA countries.
  • Certified Payroll Professional or equivalent.
  • Functional, industry, and commercial knowledge with strong business acumen.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
