ACCA Careers is collaborating with a global facilities management business in Manchester to recruit a Payroll Manager for a 6-9 month contract. The role offers hybrid or remote working with 2 days per week in the Manchester office.

You will lead payroll operations, implement a new system, ensure compliance, and collaborate with accounting to integrate payroll data while managing external providers and a payroll team.

Qualifications

• Experience with Workday payroll module and related HR systems.
• Proven ability to manage payroll reporting processes.
• Hands-on experience in systems migration/implementation projects.
• Strong leadership of payroll teams and stakeholder collaboration.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsabilités

• Support rollout and implementation of a new payroll system.
• Oversee and manage payroll processes for accuracy and timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and internal policies.
• Lead and guide the payroll team and resolve queries.
• Collaborate with accounting/finance to integrate payroll data.
• Prepare and review payroll reports for planning and decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.
• Manage relationships with external payroll providers and stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all payroll matters.
