JGA Recruitment Group | B Corp™ is seeking an experienced payroll professional in Goole, United Kingdom, to take ownership of a multi-payroll function within a busy, established environment. Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior payroll role.
• Experience managing a multi-payroll function.
• Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and taxation.
• Experience supervising staff.
• Payrite experience would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of multiple payrolls.
• Ensure all payrolls are processed accurately and within strict deadlines.
• Manage a range of payroll processes including statutory payments, Directors' NI, BACS submissions, CIS, pensions and auto-enrolment.
• Manage Benefits in Kind (PBIK) and ensure relevant tax requirements are correctly applied.
• Complete manual payroll calculations and investigate any discrepancies or payroll issues.
• Manage payroll year-end activities and ensure all statutory requirements are met.
• Keep up to date with changes to payroll legislation, taxation and statutory obligations.
• Supervise payroll team members, allocate work and review completed payrolls for accuracy.
• Provide guidance and support to the wider payroll team where required.
• Manage competing priorities and multiple payroll deadlines effectively.
• Maintain strong payroll controls, processes and documentation.
