Job summary

Macildowie Recruitment and Retention is recruiting a Senior Payroll Analyst for a global Leicester-based team. You will own end-to-end payroll for ~1,000 UK and Ireland employees, manage ADP relationships, ensure accuracy and compliance, and support complex payroll arrangements.

The role offers hybrid working, involving expatriate payroll, stock-related payments, and collaboration with senior stakeholders. CIPP qualification or strong technical payroll experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on UK & Ireland payroll experience.
• Experience with outsourced payroll providers (ADP) and multi-stakeholder environments.
• Ability to manage complex payroll queries and expatriate payroll requirements.
• CIPP or relevant payroll qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end monthly payroll for ~1,000 UK and Ireland employees.
• Manage the relationship with ADP and ensure timely processing.
• Review payroll calculations, adjustments, deductions and reconciliations.
• Handle complex payroll queries and provide technical guidance to employees and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee expatriate payroll arrangements and associated tax implications.
• Support executive compensation, including stock awards and RSUs.
• Coordinate annual salary reviews and pay increases.
• Prepare payroll journals, reconciliations and month-end reporting.
• Collaborate with HR, People Services and Finance across the business.
• Ensure compliance with UK and Irish payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Support payroll projects and process improvements.
