Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Advisor to join our busy payroll team at a leading chartered accountancy. You will manage end-to-end payroll across multiple frequencies for a diverse portfolio of clients and act as the trusted contact for complex payroll matters.

• Experience handling high-volume payroll for multiple clients in a bureau or accountancy.
• Familiar with IRIS payroll system.
• Experience with payroll systems.
• Strong client management experience.
• Ability to process pensions and benefits.
• Strong IT and Excel skills.

We are currently assisting with the recruitment for an experienced Senior Payroll Advisor to join a growing, people‑focused leading chartered accountancy. This role sits within a high‑performing payroll team that supports a wide range of clients with complex, high‑volume, and multi‑frequency payrolls. The role will be working as part of a large team focusing on processing a complex varied portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage end to end payroll across multiple frequencies for a complex varied portfolio of clients
• Process benefits, share schemes, pensions etc…
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact for complex payroll matters.
• Mentor and support junior team members

Essential experience:

• Strong experience processing high volume payroll for multiple clients in a bureau or accountancy environment
• Experience using IRIS system
• Experienced on payroll systems
• Experienced managing client relationships
• Ability to process pensions/benefits
• Strong IT/excel skills
