Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is recruiting an experienced Senior Payroll Advisor to join our growing, people-focused chartered accountancy practice on an 18-month contract within a high-performing payroll team handling complex, high-volume, multi-frequency payrolls.

You will manage end-to-end payroll across multiple frequencies for a varied portfolio, process pensions and benefits, mentor junior colleagues and contribute to system improvements while keeping up to date with legislation.

Qualifications

• Experience processing high-volume payroll for multiple clients in a bureau/accountancy environment.
• Experience using payroll systems.
• Experience managing client relationships.
• Ability to handle pensions/benefits and strong IT/Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end to end payroll across multiple frequencies for a complex varied portfolio of clients.
• Process benefits, share schemes, Teachers Pensions etc…
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact for complex payroll matters.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Work on continuous system improvement where required.
• Stay up to date on legislation changes.

We are currently assisting with the recruitment for an experienced Senior Payroll Advisor to join a growing, people-focused leading chartered accountancy. This role sits within a high-performing payroll team that supports a wide range of clients with complex, high-volume, and multi-frequency payrolls.

The role will be an 18-month contract working as part of a large team focusing on processing a complex varied portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage end to end payroll across multiple frequencies for a complex varied portfolio of clients
• Process benefits, share schemes, Teachers Pensions etc…
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact for complex payroll matters.
• Mentor and support junior team members

• Stay up to date on legislation changes

Essential experience:

• Strong experience processing high volume payroll for multiple clients in a bureau or accountancy environment
• Experienced on payroll systems
