Job summary

JGA Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading specialist to recruit a Senior Payroll Administrator into its Finance Shared Services. This hands-on role handles end-to-end monthly payroll processing for 500+ employees across multiple companies, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.

The role offers exposure to weekly payroll and pension administration. Based in the UK, the role is office-based, moving to one day home after probation, with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Experience with pensions and auto-enrolment.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient Excel and payroll systems experience.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payrolls for 500+ employees across multiple companies.
• Manage starters, leavers, contractual changes and timesheets.
• Process overtime, subsistence, sick pay and statutory payments including SSP, SMP and SPP.
• Administer deductions, court orders, company cars and car allowances.
• Prepare RTI submissions, P45s and monthly payroll journals.
• Maintain payroll records and assist with pension administration.
