Senior Payroll Advisor

Location: Doncaster (Hybrid – 2-3 days in the office)

Salary: Up to £40,000

Type: Permanent

A leading employer in the region is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Advisor to join their in-house team. This role sits just below the Payroll Manager and is ideal for someone looking to take on more responsibility in a fast-paced, high-volume payroll environment.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Running end-to-end payrolls for approximately 2,000 employees (weekly & monthly)
2. Supporting process improvements and payroll projects
3. Managing pension administration, benefits, and year-end reporting (P11Ds, etc.)
4. Acting as a go-to for payroll compliance, queries, and reporting
5. Coaching junior team members and supporting payroll leadership

What we’re looking for:

• Experience managing large payrolls (1,000+ employees)
• CIPP qualification or working towards it
• Knowledge of Workday is a bonus
• Confidence across multiple pay frequencies and deadlines
