Allianz Management Services Ltd. is recruiting a Senior Accounts Technician to join the Payments team in Guildford. The role focuses on delivering high-quality financial reporting, governance and operational excellence with a strong emphasis on controls and advisory support.

You’ll engage with senior stakeholders, drive improvements, and mentor team members while contributing to a robust control environment and executive dashboards.

Qualifications

• Significant experience working within an Accounts Department.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong understanding of how business activities translate into financial transactions and reporting.
• Knowledge of SAP and BEx systems.
• Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• Mentor and support colleagues within a team environment.
• Strong ability to analyse, interpret and present complex financial and operational data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including Executive Committee.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting in line with deadlines.
• Improve the controls environment and support audit recommendations.
• Act as subject matter expert for payment processes.
• Own and coordinate external audit process and stakeholder engagement.
• Support projects relating to Accounting Harmonisation and payment improvements.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, rules, process documentation and best practice guidance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers including Executives.
• Maintain an effective control framework for payments and controls.
• Develop dashboards and MI for visibility of performance, trends and risks.
• Present complex financial information to varied audiences.
• Support Team Leader and mentor colleagues.
