Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Patient Pathway Elective Care Coordinator to support our team within the Women's Health - Benign Gynaecology Department.
We are looking for an ambitious, creative thinker who can use their own initiative to solve problems and who will prioritize patients in all they do.
The post holder will provide senior support and expert knowledge to the team, managing our patient pathway coordinators.
The role involves overseeing staff management, administrative, and clerical processes to deliver a high-quality, effective, patient-focused service.
You will ensure all performance targets for the administrative team are met and will resolve local issues as they arise.
The role requires close collaboration with clinicians, including senior Consultants and the Assistant Service Manager, to ensure the service runs effectively.
Ideal candidates should be team players, responsible, accountable, confident decision-makers, with good interpersonal and communication skills. They should be competent in basic IT skills, logical thinking, practical problem-solving, objective assessment, and report writing.
