An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Patient Pathway Elective Care Coordinator to support our team within the Women’s Health - Benign Gynaecology Department.
We are seeking an ambitious, creative thinker who can use their initiative to solve problems and prioritize patient-centered care.
The post holder will provide senior support and expert knowledge to the team, managing our patient pathway coordinators. Responsibilities include overseeing staff management, administrative, and clerical processes to deliver a high-quality, effective, patient-focused service.
You will ensure the achievement of performance targets for the administrative team and have the ability to resolve local issues. The role involves close collaboration with clinicians, including senior Consultants and the Assistant Service Manager, to ensure the smooth operation of the service.
Ideal candidates will be team players, responsible, accountable, confident decision-makers, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Competence in basic IT, logical thinking, practical problem-solving, objective assessment, and report writing is essential.
