Job summary

HCA Healthcare UK is seeking a strategic Patient Access Manager to lead hospital-based Patient Access teams, ensuring exemplary patient journeys while driving revenue cycle performance. You will report to the Regional Patient Access Director and partner with senior leaders to implement service strategies across patient access functions.

You will manage a sizeable patient-facing team, oversee compliance, budgeting and stakeholder engagement, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability

Qualifications

• Senior healthcare/complex service leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and manage budgets.
• Experience engaging with patients, clinicians, insurers and executives.
• Strong regulatory, governance and financial control awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for all Patient Access functions.
• Lead Patient Access Leaders and teams, driving engagement and succession planning.
• Deliver outstanding patient experience and robust revenue capture.
• Oversee budgets, KPIs, SLAs and audits.
• Build relationships with patients, clinicians, insurers and hospital leaders.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement and efficiencies.
