Base pay range

£14.50 - £14.95 per hour

About the Role

The Senior Pastry Chef will work in the Patisserie production team. While not a strictly managerial role, they will be the most senior of the Pastry Chefs, leading by example and ensuring high standards.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the production of organic cakes, biscuits, puddings, and other Patisserie items.
• Ensure high-quality products with continuous improvement.
• Lead the team in food safety and traceability according to the Daylesford Quality Management System.

Operational Duties

• Prepare ingredients and ensure accurate measurement.
• Oversee mixing, baking, and finishing processes.
• Maintain a safe workplace complying with H&S regulations.

Numbers & Management

• Share ownership of P&L, driving sales and minimizing wastage.
• Contribute to order fulfillment and stock management.
• Assist in audits and legal compliance.

People & Development

• Complete mandatory training.
• Support onboarding and propose efficiency improvements.
• Communicate effectively within the team and with external partners.
• Support sustainability initiatives and promote conscious living.
