Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Pastoral Support Assistant for a secondary school in Oldham. Qualifications

• Experience in a school or education setting.
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH and/or SEND.
• Ability to support pupils with challenging behaviour or emotional difficulties.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day pastoral support to pupils across the school.
• Build positive relationships with students and maintain professional boundaries.
• Support pupils with SEMH difficulties and SEND needs.
• Assist with attendance and engagement strategies alongside teaching and pastoral staff.
• Maintain appropriate records and contribute to pupil progress monitoring.
