Job summary

Witherslack Group Ltd is seeking a Pastoral Manager at Queensmead House School near Windsor. You will lead a team to support young people with complex emotional and behavioral needs, including ASC, ADHD or SEMH, delivering high-quality pastoral care and individualised programmes for each pupil.

You’ll work closely with families, safeguarding frameworks, and multi‑agency partners to plan and monitor progress, while developing staff through supervision, appraisals and PBS approaches.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with ASC, ADHD or SEMH pupils.
• Experience of multi‑agency work with an understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• NVQ 3 in Care/Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
• Ideally - Leadership related Qualification
• Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
• Experience of staff appraisal/performance management and supervision

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to meet pupils' emotional needs in complex cases.
• Develop individual programs and plan with families.
• Apply high standards of care and support BESD/ASD pupils.
• Motivate and supervise staff; ensure effective pastoral care.
