Job summary

Queensmead House School, part of the Witherslack Group, is seeking a Pastoral Support Assistant to nurture the emotional well‑being of pupils with complex needs. You will work with families, develop individualized programs and support pupils with ASC/ASD/SEMH in a school or care setting, in collaboration with our in‑house clinical teams.

The role offers a salary of £31,288 to £34,601 and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with ASC, ADHD or SEMH pupils.
• Experience of multi‑agency work with safeguarding knowledge.
• Ideally NVQ 3 in Care/Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Meet young people’s emotional needs with high care standards.
• Work with families to develop individualized programs for each pupil.
• Create a positive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
