Job summary

Witherslack Group in Windsor is seeking a Pastoral Manager to lead a team supporting pupils with ASC/SEMH needs. You’ll design programmes for each child, assess progress and foster a positive learning environment where every young person can thrive.

Experience with BESD/ ASD, multi-agency collaboration, and safeguarding is essential. A leadership qualification and a passion for development will help you drive high standards and contribute to a purpose-led, inclusive school community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with ASC, ADHD or SEMH pupils and experience with families in challenging circumstances.
• Experience of multi-agency work with safeguarding and child protection.
• NVQ 3 in Care/Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
• Leadership related qualification preferred.
• Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
• Experience of staff appraisal and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the pastoral team to meet our young people’s emotional needs.
• Develop individual programmes for each pupil and assess progress.
• Create a positive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
• Ensure safeguarding and collaboration with families and external agencies.
