Job summary

Hunter Dunning Limited in the Beauly, Highlands, is seeking a Partner - Head of Highland Operations to lead the Highland office and client base, combining strategic leadership with hands-on rural surveying across estates.

The role focuses on delivering rural surveying and valuations, mentoring staff and building long-term client relationships with private estates, landowners and trusts in the Highlands. Hybrid working is supported with a strong client-facing leadership path.

Qualifications

• Chartered Surveyor with MRICS or FRICS designation
• RICS Registered Valuer
• Substantial experience in rural professional practice
• Strong exposure to Highland, upland or sporting estates
• Commercial mindset with business development capability
• Proven leadership and ability to work independently
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Genuine interest in sporting estates, deer forests and fisheries

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Highland office and client base
• Take full strategic and operational responsibility for Highland operations
• Contribute to business growth, profitability and long-term planning
• Deliver advice across rural surveying disciplines and valuations
• Advise private estates, landowners, trusts and institutional clients
• Provide advice on sporting estates, estate management and rural assets
• Mentor and support colleagues
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
