Our Partnership and overall indirect strategy has been integral to the growth and success of Global Payments. We have continuously adapted our position in the market to understand the rise of the ISV industry platforms, related technologies, key influencers and multiple other stakeholders in order to indirectly distribute the variety of GP solutions, through our strategic partners.
About the Role
Right now, the Partnerships and Indirect line of business is on an incredibly exciting trajectory. We have invested in brand new technology solutions and are now looking for exceptional Sales people to spearhead the sales efforts for our Payment Facilitator and Marketplace solution aimed at the UK Independent Software Vendor (ISV) market.
We will support your development every step of the way, and are looking for an ambitious solution led sales manager, who has previously sold payment technology for 7+ years, has a sufficient technical understanding of payment integration and possesses a strong industry network.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be the first person to win PF & Marketplace business for Global Payments and there are significant opportunities on the horizon to be won.
Core Responsibilities include
Deliver new business revenue targets and KPI objectives.
Develop and execute a comprehensive “go-to-market” sales strategy and take ownership for all new business opportunities across the GP Payment Facilitator & Marketplace solution.
Identify industry vertical markets and their top SaaS & ISV vendors via prospecting and utilising your existing network.
Build deep, long term Win-Win partnerships, developing an extensive understanding of a partners’ business, driving new innovative propositions and solutions to deliver long term revenue streams.
You will be a subject matter expert with a genuine passion for a specified vertical(s), maintaining an excellent knowledge of platforms, solution providers, distributors and aggregation points.
Lead full engagement for new business, from identification of the lead to live.
Cultivate warm referrals and develop relationships with your global colleagues across the US, CAN & AUS where we collaborate to win new business.
Understand and articulate the Global Payments eCommerce, Digital & Card Present payment solutions and through consultative selling, develop skills to displace the market competition.
Represent Global Payments at industry events, become a brand ambassador, maintain a solid public profile.
About You
With all this in mind, we need an experienced (7+) sales individual who wants to move into the high growth area of Partnership Sales, and join one of the leading payment technology companies in the world. 7+ years of payments, strategic partnerships, business development & commercial sales experience.
Have demonstrable experience and a history of achieving annual revenue goals through direct merchant sales or through partnerships.
Motivated to prospect and hunt in addition to receiving inbound leads.
Proven as a target oriented self-starter, with a high energy work ethic.
Strong articulation of the market’s payment landscape, including trends, competition, growth areas, technologies, opportunities, and overall an in-depth knowledge of payment solutions.
Proactive, energetic, tenacious, accountable and a passionate individual with the ability to go above and beyond, always striving for success.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
A role model who possesses a strong industry reputation and excellent payment network.
