Job description

Reporting to the Head of Partner Strategy and Alliances, the Partner Business Development Manager has a key role in driving growth and success with partners. This role is responsible for executing partner strategy by collaborating with regional sales leaders and Partner Account Managers to drive growth and development within the partner ecosystem in the region.

The Partner Business Development Manager focuses on creating and implementing strategic business plans and enablement paths, fostering long-term development of strategic partnerships. Additionally, they actively seek new partners, ensuring a continuous expansion of the partner network, and provide support and guidance to Partner Account Managers (PAMs).

This role is pivotal in leveraging regional technology alliances to enhance partnership opportunities, integrating partner strategies with regional sales goals, and aligning them with the company’s global objectives. They also ensure regular communication and strategic alignment between global and regional teams, fostering a cohesive approach to partner management and business development.

Key to success will be the ability to collaborate with diverse teams with experience in a matrix reporting environment while taking a front seat approach to driving sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive partner growth in the region.
  2. Collaborate with the Head of Partner Strategy and Alliances to ensure regional strategies align with global objectives.
  3. Create and implement business plans and enablement paths to support the long-term development of strategic partnerships and focus attention on accelerating new business acquisition.
  4. Identify and engage potential new growth reselling partners and ISVs to expand the partner ecosystem.
  5. Identify new strategic technology partners that accentuate ABBYY’s portfolio to the market and drive growth.
  6. Influence and work with Partner Account Managers on building profitable, scalable and predictable partnerships.
  7. Work with regional sales leaders to integrate partner strategies with regional sales goals, driving excellence in approach to monthly forecasts and pipeline development.
  8. Develop close collaboration with Partner Enablement, Partner Marketing and Pre-sales in the region.
  9. Drive all activities with a customer-first mentality.
  10. Drive adoption of the Global Channel Program.

Job Requirements:

  1. 8+ years of experience.
  2. Intelligent Automation background, likely having been in a similar role at another automation vendor such as RPA, IDP, BPM, etc.
  3. Experience in working with Global SIs and consultancies.
  4. Experience of enterprise sales as well as partner sales.
  5. Flexibility to travel if needed.
  6. Bachelor's Degree, preference of Business or related field.
