Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a design-focused Marlow studio. You will work on high-quality residential and commercial projects, developing concepts through to technical design and planning.

Qualifications

Part 2 qualification required for practice in the UK.
Experience in residential and/or commercial projects is preferred.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
Solid knowledge of UK planning, building regulations and construction practices.
Experience developing designs from concept to technical stages.

Responsibilities

Produce high-quality architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections and presentation material throughout the design process.
Contribute to concept development, design studies and detailing.
Develop projects from feasibility and concept through planning, building regulations and technical design.
Prepare planning and building control submissions with accurate drawings.
Create mood boards, diagrams, visualisations and client-facing material.
Assist with coordination with consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
Attend design reviews, meetings and workshops and research materials and methods.
