Project Centre is seeking an experienced Senior Kerbside Management Consultant / Design Engineer to lead on-street and off-street parking projects across the UK. You will design schemes, manage client relations, and mentor junior staff while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Designing and implementing traffic or parking schemes from inception to delivery.
• Strong knowledge of parking, traffic and highway legislation and guidance.
• Experience with Traffic Regulation Orders and the order-making process.
• Experience managing projects and programmes to time and budget.
• Experience supervising junior engineers, technicians and/or graduates.

Responsabilités

• Design on- and off-street parking restrictions in line with legislation and best practice.
• Apply TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manuals and relevant guidance.
• Support the Traffic Regulation Order process.
• Deliver minor parking schemes from inception through to implementation.
• Manage work programmes and projects to time, quality and budget.
• Supervise and develop junior engineers and graduates.
• Lead workload of a small team with training, QA, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams and stakeholders.
• Liaise with councillors, residents, businesses and other stakeholders.
• Prepare clear technical and non-technical reports for diverse audiences.
