Job summary

Swindon Borough Council is seeking a Senior Supervisor in Parking to lead day-to-day parking and enforcement across the borough. You will manage frontline teams, ensuring safe, accessible streets and high-quality service provision for residents, businesses and visitors.

The role requires substantial supervisory experience in parking, contract/ supplier management, and adherence to legislation and local policies.

Qualifications

• Substantial knowledge and experience in supervising Parking Teams.
• Experience of managing contracts and procuring external suppliers and contractors.
• Ability to conduct site visits across the Borough and attend meetings across and outside the Borough.
• Ensure staff adhere to legislation, local policies, and professional standards.
• Support staff development through coaching, mentoring and training.
• Oversee day-to-day parking enforcement operations and service delivery.
• Flexibility to work some weekends, evenings and occasional public holidays.
• English language fluency as required for customer-facing role.

Responsibilities
