Job summary

An experienced Senior Paraplanner is sought by a growing independent financial planning business in Guildford to provide high-quality technical support across pensions, investments, trusts and IHT planning. You will work closely with Advisers and Directors, delivering accurate suitability reports and complex analysis.

Qualifications

• Diploma-level qualification in Financial Planning – essential.
• 3+ years’ paraplanning experience in regulated environment.
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, trusts and IHT.
• Experience with cash flow modelling.
• Excellent report writing and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Interest in building a long-term career in paraplanning.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate and compliant suitability reports.
• Undertaking technical research and analysis.
• Supporting complex trust, estate planning and IHT cases.
• Preparing cash flow modelling and illustrations.
• Managing workflows and competing priorities across multiple Advisers.
• Liaising with clients and external professionals where required.
• Keeping up to date with relevant tax, trust and pensions legislation.
• Providing technical support and insight to the wider advice team.
