Job summary

The Cheltenham-based financial planning firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support a Senior adviser with complex client needs. You will prepare suitability reports, conduct market research across investments, pensions and protection, and liaise with providers to progress new business and servicing.

Qualifications

• Proven paraplanning experience supporting an independent financial adviser.
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and protection.
• Ability to produce clear, compliant suitability reports to a high standard.
• Desirable: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or working towards chartered status.
• Desirable: Familiarity with research tools and back-office systems used in financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed suitability reports and letters of authority for adviser review.
• Researching and analysing investment, pension and protection solutions across the market.
• Liaising with product providers to progress new business and manage ongoing servicing.
• Supporting a Senior adviser with technical queries and keeping up to date with regulatory changes.
• Using back-office systems to maintain accurate client records and track case progress.
• Working collaboratively with other paraplanners to ensure consistency and share knowledge.
